On a extraordinary flood approach, water enters the housing filling the barrier which lifts through the buoyant body that normally rest below the surface of the barrier and by the hydrostatic pressure it reaches its uprising position, before flood level reaches grade level.

Full lifecycle traceability

Every barrier is registered with a unique serial number, QR code and GPS coordinates. Technicians scan the QR code on site and instantly access the complete history: specifications, past inspections, open issues and maintenance schedule.

EASY TO INSTALL & READY TO USE

By our selected partners, we provide full assistance to all our customers both in just standard maintenance operations and in crisis episodes. The product is supplied in modular form and it is placed in a suitable recess in the ground.

One needs to ensure that the modular form is clean and the barrier is tested periodically by closing the drain and filling the housing with water. After a flood event the barrier needs to be cleaned from mud, leaves and debris which are deposited on the various components.

When the flood barrier is closed, it features a pleasant and robust design with a specific non-slip finish. Water is free to access from its perimeter or by rising up the drain pipe.

When the water level exceeds a few centimeters inside the barrier basin, the polyurethane floats passively activate the gas pistons, causing a gradual lifting of the bulkhead to ensure the safety of any individuals present.

In just a few seconds, the barrier will be completely closed, in an airtight manner. The external floats will also protect the bulkhead from impacts with any floating objects (such as logs, etc.).
